Urquhart Conservation Area

The Town received the property in 1975 through the Land Court tax lien (strict foreclosure) and turned over to the Conservation Commission. Salmon Brook lies on the easterly border of the parcel. The Urquhart Conservation area is located within the Petapawag ACEC and has been designated Core Habitat and Critical Natural Landscape. Property consists mostly of Salmon Brook meadow land.
