Unkety Brook Conservation Area
The Unkety Brook Conservation Area was conveyed to the Town of Dunstable by the builder of the Unkety Brook development as part of the Certificate of Approval of his open space development back in 1995 (Section 6.6 of the Zoning Bylaw for Open Space Developments). The Conservation area consists of two parcels, which surrounds the Unkety Brook subdivision. The gift is subject to easements, restrictions and rights listed in the deed. The Unkety Brook Conservation area likes within the Petapawag ACEC and has been designated Core Habitat. The extensive frontage on the west side of Unkety Brook, a cold water stream, is important habitat for many wildlife species including state-listed turtles.
