Sargent Conservation Area

The Conservation Commission purchased the 3-acre parcel in 1973 from Conrad F. Sargent. The property abuts Salmon Brook on the west side and is very close to the Town wells. Referred to as Lot 145 – Salmon Brook Lot. The Sargent Conservation area is located within the Petapawag ACEC and has been designated Core Habitat and Critical Natural Landscape. The parcel now adjoins, protects and provides access to the Town Well field.
